Patrick Hiebert
Chief Executive Officer
-
Patrick Hiebert, CEO and co-founder of Autris, has dedicated nearly two decades to the design and development of freedom and sustainability-oriented communities and homes. A seasoned entrepreneur with a background in founding and successfully selling high-tech software companies, Patrick's journey took a unique turn when he and his son embarked on a transformative experience of living on a boat and sailing the open ocean. This immersive lifestyle provided them with invaluable insights into the principles of a freer existence, efficient designs, self-sufficiency in power and water generation, and a profound commitment to sustainable living that transcends dependence on governments and corporations.
At the helm of Autris, Patrick intends to steer the company to become a holding entity for two groundbreaking and successful entities – EcoVillages and Vida Verde Agroforestry. EcoVillages, a community design and development company, places a strong emphasis on sustainability and liberty-focused living. Under Patrick's leadership, EcoVillages has become synonymous with innovative community design, incorporating principles of freedom, independence, resiliency, sustainability, and transparency.
Simultaneously, Vida Verde Agroforestry, another proposed subsidiary of Autris, focuses on the sustainable integration of agriculture with forestry. Patrick's commitment to breaking new ground in freedom-oriented, eco-sensible, and sustainable living community design, as well as agroforestry practices, is reflected in the innovative approaches employed by both companies.
Leveraging his vast experience, Patrick consistently pioneers new ways to empower Autris' clients to embrace a lifestyle that minimizes reliance on big government and corporations. The Autris portfolio of communities and agroforests is rapidly expanding in response to a growing global demand for living spaces that offer freedom from potential future lockdowns and mandates. Patrick envisions Autris as a beacon for individuals seeking a like-minded community, awake to the political divisiveness and overreach of the contemporary world.
Central to Autris' commitment to excellence is the "F.I.R.S.T. Community Certification" program, a brainchild of Patrick Hiebert himself. Representing Freedom, Independence, Resiliency, Sustainability, and Transparency, this certification ensures that Autris and its subsidiaries focus on delivering a superior freedom-oriented lifestyle, serving as landing pad homes, and offering Plan B residencies for the expanding market of freedom-seeking individuals worldwide.
In the realm of sustainable living and community development, Patrick Hiebert stands as a visionary leader, continuously shaping the trajectory of Autris and its subsidiaries towards a future characterized by freedom, resilience, and sustainable living.

Spencer Hiebert
Chief Design Officer / Board Member
-
Spencer Hiebert is a Co-Founder and the Chief Design Officer (CDO) of EcoVillages, a freedom and sustainable community development company.
After growing up sailing and living on boats with his father Patrick, Spencer developed a passion for sailing, and the sustainable lifestyles that come with it. Spencer would go on to later living on his own sailboat while working in the Marine Industry in Canada, and between that and assisting his father on his off grid projects in Nicaragua, Spencer gained immense hands on experience working with alternative energy systems and self sustainability concepts. The combination of this experience and actually living the lifestyle created a very effective knowledge base for what was to come.
In 2019 when COVID hit, Spencer found himself in Belize while the initial lockdowns were happening. The lockdowns were really the catalyst for Spencer to begin to design communities of off-grid freedom oriented living and self sustainability oriented homes.
The team was put together and work started on designing the communities that would eventually be known as the Veritas Villages.
Since that time, Spencer and the EcoVillages team have designed many communities with homes that support a large variety of lifestyles. From true off-grid tiny homes, to full sized luxury homes and condos that still put an emphasis on self sustainability oriented living.
